Mike Whitaker is a licensed REALTOR® (DRE #02169284) proudly serving El Dorado, Sacramento, Placer Counties and the Greater Bay Area. He specializes in helping seniors, families, and first-time buyers navigate important real estate transitions with confidence and clarity. With over 25 years of experience in sales and business development, Mike’s background spans real estate, solar, senior placement services, insurance, home warranties, mortgages, and entrepreneurship. He holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation and is currently completing his Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation. He is also actively earning his A.S. Degree in Business Administration, with plans to transfer to Sacramento State for a Bachelor’s Degree.

Mike is also a professional photographer and videographer, providing high-quality real estate photography, cinematic video walkthroughs, drone footage, and 3D virtual tours. His background in the film industry and on movie sets has uniquely equipped him to bring listings to life through dynamic, visually compelling media that sets his clients’ homes apart.

Born and raised in Placerville, Mike is deeply rooted in the El Dorado County community. He currently resides in El Dorado Hills and attends a local church. Mike believes in serving with purpose, which is why he partners with Pacific Senior Care Services to assist families in finding compassionate care and housing solutions for aging loved ones.

Beyond real estate, Mike is a dedicated family man. He has a 23-year-old son, a 3-year-old daughter, and two step-sons, ages 8 and 4. He has been with his wife for over four years, balancing family life with a deep commitment to his clients and community. Mike is an early riser who believes in the power of structure, daily routine, and personal development to achieve success and serve others better.
